CONGRESSIONAL, LEGISLATIVE and STATEWIDE RACES

During election cycles, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC considers requests for endorsement of candidates for the state Assembly, state Senate, statewide offices, U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate. Candidates for these offices are invited to apply for the HJTA PAC’s endorsement by downloading and completing our candidate questionnaire here:

Please note that we do not accept applications for endorsements for local (city and county) offices.

Endorsed candidates will be notified after the PAC board makes an endorsement.

LOCAL RACES

Due to the number of requests for endorsement we receive, HJTA does not generally endorse candidates for local (city and county) offices. Candidates in local races (or any other office) wishing to sign the HJTA Pledge to Stand Up for Taxpayers may download and complete the pledge here:

Candidates who have signed the HJTA Pledge to Stand Up for Taxpayers will be listed on the HJTA website under “Election Information – For Voters” and are welcome to include the signed Pledge in campaign materials, websites and ads.
