In a November audit, the California State Personnel Board found that more than 800 of the 4,200 employees at the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration had a familial relation with someone else at the Board of Equalization, reports the Sacramento Bee. Despite a new anti-nepotism policy in the department, the report also found several instances of job applicants receiving hiring advantages because of familial relations.
