A new study from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has found, while education is improving, there is still significant room for progress in the areas of international competitiveness and career readiness. The National Center for Policy Analysis says only 10 states received “A” ratings in international competitiveness. Additionally, the teaching force is not yet adequately prepared for the high-tech environment of the 21st century, with no state receiving an “A” rating in the study’s “21st Century Teaching Force” category.
