Since 2014, California has approved of $20 billion worth of bonds that will cost $1.2 billion per year for 30 years to pay back. Critics like Jack Humpreville, at City Watch LA, expect California legislators to push for two more propositions in 2020 that will add another $20 billion to the debt assumed to be paid by California taxpayers, with one being an assault on Prop 13.
