Time magazine has come under attack by teachers unions for writing a critical report on how unions prevent bad teachers from being fired, writes Mark Hemingway in the Weekly Standard. Instead of responding constructively to the report, teachers unions created an online petition expressing their anger, which they further amplified through coverage by sympathetic media. However, despite their political position, many of the people attacking the critical report have themselves chosen not to enroll their children in public schools.
