Sacramento — They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Therefore a video of SEIU leaders allegedly beating a State worker must be worth Û_ a million?
“This story shows what we’ve known for years in the Capitol: the SEIU wants you to know that you disagree with the SEIU at your own peril” said Jon Coupal President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. “But the public is beginning to see SEIU’s true colors ÛÒ and the only purple we see are the bruises on their reputation.”
Sacramento’s local CBS affiliate showed the aftermath of an alleged beating of a State worker (and fellow SEIU member) after he showed up at an SEIU Local 1000 meeting to voice concerns. Ken Hamidi said he was attacked then assaulted by four SEIU leaders after he voiced concerns over what he viewed as SEIU’s “corruption” and inappropriate spending of SEIU funds on a political race. Photos showed the State worker bloody and beaten and recovering in the emergency room.
